Step-by-Step Instructions
Follow these steps to create a layout and add automation equipment to your workspace in ReshapeX:1. Navigate to the solution
From the Dashboard, go to Solutions and open the one you’d like to add a layout to (e.g. Robotic Palletizer).2. Open the Layouts tab
Inside the solution, click the Layouts tab.3. Create a new layout
Click + Create Layout, and give it a name (e.g.AMR and Palletizer Layout).
4. Upload or select a floor plan
You can choose to upload your own floor plan or select one from existing assets. In this case:- Select the Main Floor Plan
- Use your mouse or trackpad to zoom out for a better view of the production area
5. Add equipment from the Marketplace
In the search field:- Type the name of the item you’d like to place (e.g.
Peer) - Select an item like the Peer AMR
- Drag and drop it into your layout
6. Adjust item position
Once placed:- Click and drag the object to reposition it anywhere in the layout
- Adjust as needed to fit your workflow
Now you’ve successfully created a layout with a real floor plan and dropped in assets from the marketplace. You can create multiple layouts to experiment with different configurations and automation strategies.
