The BOM (Bill of Materials) Builder in ReshapeX lets you create structured, categorized equipment lists tied to a solution.1. Create a new solution
From the Dashboard, go to the Solutions section and click Create Solution.- Name: e.g.
BOM Builder - Link to Opportunity: Choose an opportunity (e.g.
Test Opportunity)
2. Open the Bill of Materials tab
Once the solution is created, click into the Bill of Materials tab.3. Create BOM groups
Groups let you organize your BOM by function, category, or vendor.- Click Create Group

4. Add line items to the BOM
You can add products in three ways:- Manual entry: Start typing the item name and fill in details
- Search: Use the search bar to find components (e.g.

Controller,Vacuum Gripper,Vision System
- Select a vendor (e.g.
5. Add installation details
Create a new group forInstallation and add services like:
Robot Installation On Site- Hourly or weekly install pricing
6. Review the summary
The BOM Summary will automatically:- Group and subtotal each section
- Calculate freight and installation costs
- Show the final Project Total
