Step-by-Step Instructions
Vendors in ReshapeX are managed similarly to companies. Here’s how to create one manually:1. Go to the Vendors section
From the Dashboard, click Vendors in the left-hand menu.2. Create a new vendor
Click Create Vendor.- Company Name: e.g.
Reshape Automation - Once selected, fields like Description, Website, and Facility Name may autofill if the company already exists in your system
3. Fill in vendor details
Manually enter:- Address
- City
- State
- ZIP Code
- Country
- Phone Number
4. Verify vendor listing
Go back to the Vendors tab to confirm the vendor is listed.📥 Optional: Import Vendors via CSV
You can also import vendors in bulk using a CSV file — the process is similar to importing Contacts or Companies. Just follow the prompts under Import Data in the Vendors tab.Managing vendors in ReshapeX allows for better control over sourcing, quoting, and BOM accuracy across your projects.
