Step-by-Step Instructions

Follow these steps to generate a quote using a pre-built solution in ReshapeX:

1. Start from Opportunities

Navigate to Opportunities in the left-hand menu and click + Create Opportunity. Fill in the details:
  • Name: e.g. Palletizing Opportunity
  • Clone From: Choose an existing opportunity if you’d like to reuse its structure
  • Value: e.g. $200,000
  • Probability: e.g. 20%
  • Status: Select or leave blank
  • Close Date: e.g. End of June
Click + Create to continue.

2. Attach Contacts

Ensure the correct contact(s) are linked to the opportunity before proceeding.

3. Select or Build a Solution

Open the Solutions tab within the opportunity:
  • Use an existing solution or search for components (e.g. Cobalt Palletizer)
  • Adjust quantities as needed (e.g. set to 2 if two lines are required)
  • Use groups to organize items (e.g. add an Installation group and update it to match)

4. Create the Quote

Go to the Deliverables section and click Create Quote. Fill in the quote details:
  • Title: e.g. Quote for Demo Video
  • Template: Choose your preferred quote template
  • Contact Info: Make sure client name, email, and company info are correct
  • Date: Use today’s date
  • Project Description: e.g. Two cobalt palletizers for palletizing 25 lb cases at 10 cases per minute
Click Finish to generate the quote.

5. Use the Document Editor

Once the quote is created:
  • Use the built-in editor to customize the content
  • Use AI to generate bullet points (e.g. “What are four benefits of cobalt palletizing?”)
  • Use Replace Selection to insert generated content
  • Add your Bill of Materials by inserting prebuilt BOM sections

Your solution quote is now ready to send — personalized, data-driven, and consistent with your templates.
