Step-by-Step Instructions

Templates in ReshapeX let you standardize and personalize quotes or proposals with ease. Here’s how to use them effectively:

1. Navigate to the Templates section

From the left-hand menu, click Templates to view all available templates in your portal. You’ll see a list of templates such as:
  • Budgetary Proposal Template
  • Full Quote Templates
  • Application-specific Templates
Click on any template to preview its structure and personalization tokens (e.g. {{client_name}}, {{company_address}}, {{project_description}}). Templates are created using the ReshapeX document editor, and dynamic fields can be auto-filled via:
  • CRM integrations
  • Existing ReshapeX contact data
  • Manual entry during quote creation

2. Use a template in a real quote

Go to an existing Solution, then open the Deliverables tab and click Create Deliverable. Fill in:
  • Title: e.g. Loys Palletizing Solution
  • Template: Select your preferred template (e.g. Budgetary Proposal Template)

3. Personalize the quote content

You’ll now walk through a short form that populates dynamic fields in the template:
  • Contact Name: Choose from associated contacts (e.g. Mark)
  • Company Info: Auto-filled or entered manually
    • Example: 123 Lowest Way, Pittsburgh, PA 15241
  • Company Email: e.g. [email protected]
  • Date: Use today’s date
  • Project Description: e.g.
    Two robotic palletizing cells designed to stack 25 lb cases of food at a rate of 10 cases per minute within a 20x20 ft area
Click Next after each step.

4. Finalize and refine using the document editor

Once the template is loaded:
  • All dynamic fields will be filled in
  • You can add additional context or details
  • Use AI to expand or reformat content:
    • Prompt: Provide a bulleted list of four benefits to robotic palletizing
    • Click Accept or Replace Selection to update the document
Add your Bill of Materials, update objectives, and save the quote.
Using templates ensures consistency, saves time, and makes it easy to generate high-quality, professional deliverables across your team.
